Gstaad Festival Orchestra | Bomsori, Zhao & van Zweden
Orchester
Saturday, 08. August 2026
7:30 p.m., Church Saanen
The first concert of the year with Jaap van Zweden at the helm of “his” Menuhin Festival Orchestra – set within the unique atmosphere of Saanen’s historic Mauritius Church! On the programme: 100% Viennese Classicism, entirely in the spirit of our Festival’s founder. At the heart of the evening stand two exceptional soloists: violinist Bomsori Kim, well known to us from her years as a “Menuhin’s Heritage Artist”, and cellist Jing Zhao, a graduate of the Berlin Karajan Academy under David Geringas and prize-winner of the prestigious ARD International Music Competition in Munich.
