A new director of the Vocal Academy – and a legend in his art: baritone star Thomas Hampson invites us on a journey … to his homeland! To the America we all love – the America of the great figures who shaped the musical world between classical and jazz in the first half of the 20th century. He commands their art of song like no other and has even dedicated an entire foundation to them: the aptly named “Hampsong Foundation”. And with the United States celebrating the 250th anniversary of its independence in 2026, there is all the more reason to revel in the musical and cultural diversity of this remarkable nation!
