Friday, 24. July 2026

1 p.m., Grand Chalet Balthus, Rossinière

The Summit is a new leadership and cultural forum launched by the Menuhin Festival Gstaad, premiering in summer 2026. In partnership with Forbes Switzerland and supported by Pro Scientia et Arte, this gathering will bring together leading voices from music, cultural management, media, technology, business and the arts in the inspiring setting of Gstaad.

At its heart, The Summit explores the most pressing questions shaping the future of cultural institutions and classical music in the 21st century. Through high-level conversations and dynamic panels, participants gain rare behind-the-scenes insights into today’s cultural ecosystem – while forging bold new perspectives on the evolving role of culture in a rapidly changing society. Key themes include reimagining art & culture in the 21st century, the digital renaissance of classical music, technology as a catalyst for cultural innovation, visionary leadership & governance in the arts, balancing artistic integrity and economic sustainability.

The Summit also offers students of the String Academy access to influential international decision-makers and shapers of the global music scene. Hosted in the remarkable atmosphere of the Grand Chalet Balthus in Rossinière, the forum provides a refined yet forward-looking setting for meaningful exchange. For three inspiring days, the Menuhin Festival Gstaad becomes a vibrant meeting point for cultural leadership, innovation, and the alliances that will define tomorrow’s artistic landscape.
