Gabriela Montero
Rezital
Wednesday, 29. July 2026
7:30 p.m., Church Saanen
She is widely regarded as the queen of “classical” improvisation. Venezuelan pianist Gabriela Montero invites us on a musical journey to the south. Conceived as a subtle ode to freedom, the programme intertwines Montero’s extraordinary “freestyle” artistry with sound worlds shaped by the spirit of Spain. Whether authentically Iberian or – like Liszt’s fervently passionate Rhapsody – freely inspired by Spain’s colours and temperament, this concert promises fire, imagination, and boundless expressive power.
