Kammermusik

Family Matters

Thursday, 30. July 2026

7:30 p.m., Church Rougemont

After three evenings of chamber music with a variety of ensembles, pianist Simon Crawford-Phillips invites us to share a uniquely personal family moment in Rougemont. Together with his wife, violinist Malin, and their two children, Maya and Fabian, he creates a celebration of togetherness, with the spirit of “passing it on” at its very heart. On the programme: the composer couple Clara and Robert Schumann – once again a true family story – alongside Frank Bridge’s all too rarely performed Phantasy, written as a competition tribute to the great “forefather” Henry Purcell, and a world premiere by Britta Byström, one of the defining voices of today’s Swedish contemporary music scene.
