Brodsky Quartett, Dimitry Ashkenazy & Jeremy Menuhin
Kammermusik
Wednesday, 12. August 2026
7:30 p.m., Church Lauenen
Two sons, two family stories: Dimitri, the clarinettist, son of Vladimir, the pianist and conductor – and Jeremy, pianist and composer, son of Yehudi Menuhin. Between them stands one of the legendary quartets of our time, the Brodsky Quartet, founded in 1972 on the other side of the English Channel – with two of its original members still performing today. At this grand “family evening” of chamber music, we will experience, among other highlights, the European premiere of Jeremy Menuhin’s Clarinet Quintet – a moment sure to leave a lasting impression.
