A sweeping finale of two weeks of intense work under the expert direction of Jaap van Zweden and Johannes Schlaefli, supported throughout by the exceptional musicians of the Gstaad Festival Orchestra. This closing concert of the Conducting Academy is a moment of true significance for every participant. And as the evening culminates in the presentation of the Menuhin Conducting Prize – the newly renamed successor to the Neeme Järvi Prize – it promises not only deep recognition, but the prospect of future appearances with leading Swiss orchestras and distinguished ensembles abroad.
