Winterreise Reloaded | Daniel Behle & Oliver Schnyder Trio
Kammermusik
Friday, 14. August 2026
7:30 p.m., Zweisimmen Church
The Hamburg-born tenor Daniel Behle, who lives in Basel, returns to the Zweisimmen Church – bringing with him one of the true monuments of music history: Schubert’s sublime “Die Winterreise”. In an “expanded” version, the cycle is heard not only with piano but also with violin and cello. For this, Daniel Behle joins the trio led by Zurich pianist Oliver Schnyder, his long-standing musical partner. Together, they recorded this extraordinary version for Sony in 2015 – a version many are unaware was in fact conceived by Schubert himself.
