Family Concert | Peter and the Wolf
Orchestra
Sunday, 30. August 2026
10:30 a.m., Gstaad Festival Tent
Peter and the Wolf is just timeless. Composed in 1936, Sergei Prokofiev’s symphonic fairy tale continues capturing hearts of children across the globe. And it enchants listeners of every generation, because it’s never too late to discover something new – like the wonderfully diverse family of musical instruments – and to have a whole lot of fun along the way! A first-class musical Sunday treat awaits us in the Gstaad Festival Tent. None other than the Artistic Director himself will guide us through the tale as narrator, joined by the musicians of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Vasily Petrenko – the crowning finale of their musical weekend in the Alps.
