7:30 p.m., Church Rougemont

Following in the footsteps of Pallavi Mahidhara, Alexandra Dovgan and Kate Liu, Yunchan Lim has earned his place among the distinguished Olivier Berggruen Prize laureates. After winning the Van Cliburn Competition in 2022 and dazzling audiences last year with a stunning Mendelssohn-Tchaikovsky-Mussorgsky recital, he returns to the Festival with a unique idea: a “Master and Student” recital. Joined by his teacher, Minsso Sohn, the two will share the stage, performing side by side on two pianos while creating a captivating musical dialogue.
