L'Heure Bleue – Concert for All
Thursday, 07. August 2025
5:30 p.m., Gstaad Festival Tent
This first of two concerts by the Gstaad Conducting Academy 2025 offers a unique chance to witness young conductors in action after an intense week of rehearsals under the expert mentorship of Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, Jaap van Zweden and Johannes Schlaefli. Handpicked from nearly 200 applicants, these rising stars will take turns leading the Gstaad Festival Orchestra, tackling masterpieces like Dvořák’s iconic Symphony “From the New World”. Just two days later, Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla will take the podium herself to present this masterpiece during this year’s first grand symphonic concert at the Gstaad Festival Tent.
